HippoVEND Integration with First Meta
HippoVEND 1.6.2 is now integrated to accept the MetaCard. To start accepting MetaCard as a mode of payment, simply register for a merchant account (please see https://www.firstmeta.com/merchants) and the MetaCard Plug-in will be sent to you in your "MetaCard Merchant Package" upon approval.

- The MetaCard Plug-in
The MetaCard Plug-in allows your customers to pay for their purchases from the hippoVEND using their MetaCard. Installation is simple, just follow the instructions as per below-mentioned and you are ready to accept MetaCard payments on your HippoVEND system.
Instructions
- Rez the MetaCard Plug-in near your hippoVEND vendor and position it as desired.
- Select the MetaCard Plug-in then the hippoVend vendor with your cursor (*Note: The order is important)
- Press CTRL-L to link them together. (The vendor will thus still remain the root prim)
- The HippoVEND vendor will give you a message stating: "hippoVEND/MetaCard initialized."
- Setup is completed and you are ready to accept MetaCard Payments.

HippoVEND is configured to provide the profit sharing feature. All profit sharing avatars must register for a MetaCard Merchant account as per above requirements.
